Chris Sissons loves stories and these days strides the streets of Sheffield on the lookout for new stories. He was a Community Development Worker for 30 years and consequently is sceptical about almost everything.
I’m a local marketing coach, using stories to open up business development in surprising ways. I underline the distinction between real and paid work. Many people are unhappy because they cannot find time for their real work – as we unravel the lockdown, we’re all challenged to step up and offer the world our own unique insights. They won’t always work but how else do we find the ones that do?

The prayer Chris refers to during the Podcast is by Teresa of Avila and not Julian of Norwich. Everything Chris says about Julian is, as far as he knows, accurate but not relevant! And the main point still stands – the phenomenal contribution over women mystics through the centuries.

Find Tell Share Episode 22 with Melissa Watson
Tuesday May 10, 2022
Tuesday May 10, 2022
“Find Tell Share” is a podcast co-hosted in Sheffield by Chris Sissons, Market Together and Jemma Rosenthal, Creative Hearts. It’s the storyteller’s podcast, featuring everything storytelling, especially if you use stories to promote your business or charity (and you should!). We produce an edition once a month with a guest, watch out for the next!
On this Show we explore self-love and self-worth, how words and music together tell a story and a disastrous recipe for pancakes!
April 2022’s Guest
is Melissa Watson, Owner and Founder of Envisioned Life Institute LLC.
Melissa is a life purpose embodiment and trauma-healing life coach and a Reiki practitioner. She’s also a soon-to-be-published author, an actress and a dancer.
Melissa writes: I'd love to tell my manifesting story and what I've changed in my life, once I started to believe I could and took action. I worked on shifting my mindset through positive affirmations, meditation, gratitude, yoga, journaling, and more. This leads into how I became an entrepreneur and it has also shaped my business. I've manifested a new career, then a business of my own, adding my passions back into my life (acting, dance, writing, yoga, spending more time on outdoor adventures), not just the love of my life - but us in a boat - just like the picture of a couple in a boat I put on my vision board. I have cultivated a deep sense of self-love and self-worth that was lacking before due to trauma. I have healed so much more from that trauma and I'd love to help others do the same. In the middle of this story I also got long term Covid which is what led me to becoming Reiki certified. I even manifested getting an agent and being in my first co-authored book coming 2023.

In this Podcast we explore collaboration between two artists, a singer/songwriter and a video film-maker. It also almost features the world premiere of The Hungry Caterpillar song!
March 2022’s Guest
March’s guest is Paul Stinson, founder of Hovaloft.
Hi, in simplest terms Paul makes videos and he does it because he loves it! In broader terms, he uses drones and handheld video to create a complete package, as he sees it. Paul started because he loves film and if he didn’t get paid for it he’d still do it because he needs to. A video is like a storytelling problem, you create the story and paint moving images onto the story. It’s great fun.

I run Telling Stories: Making Business, storytelling for business owners, on second and fourth Thursdays (usually). It’s an opportunity to hear a business owner’s story and to offer feedback. Find Tell Share Episode 19 with Debbie Bridge
Monday Dec 20, 2021
Monday Dec 20, 2021
“Find Tell Share” is a podcast co-hosted in Sheffield by Chris Sissons, Market Together and Jemma Rosenthal, Creative Hearts. It’s the storyteller’s podcast, featuring everything storytelling, especially if you use stories to promote your business or charity (and you should!). We produce an edition once a month with a guest, watch out for the next!
In this Podcast, we explore the seasonal theme of food and its place in our lives, opera singing, bears and what they do in the woods and how they can help, when to prepare and eat Sunday dinner, how to make rice pudding and blending food preparation with performance arts. You might even hear a Christmas song sung by all three of us if you can bear it!
December’s Guest
December’s guest is Debbie Bridge, Voiceover Actor
Having grown up in Canada and travelled a lot right from being a baby, Debbie has loved adventure and foreign places. This led her to end up starting her performance career in the U.K. She started out as an opera singer, then moved into straight acting and that led easily to voiceover. Debbie has produced several shows and short films. Performed all over the world (on a small scale). Judged various competitions and taught several students. She believes strongly in the adage a rising tide lifts all boats.
